British Petroluim (BP plc) is one of the biggest energy company, the brand was originally created by a German firm as a way of marketing its products in Britain. During WWI the British Government seized that company’s assets, and the public Trustee sold them to an Anglo-Persian. BP began as the Anglo-Persian Oil Company Ltd, registered in 1909 to extract and refine oil from oil-field in Iran. In 1914, the British government purchased a majority share in the Company. BP grew to become a multinational oil and gas company based in London, England. It’s today the world largest companies measured by revenues and profits. BP’s offered divers services from: Productions & Operations, Customers & Products, Gas & Low Carbon Energy, Strategy Sustainability & Ventures, Technology and Supply, Trading & Shipping. In addition to all of that BP’s invested in Digital Marketing to play a crucial role in her advertising strategy, the company engage wider audience and drive brand awareness through various online platforms. BP leverages social media channels, content marketing and online advertising to effectively reach and interact with consumers. The company use social media like: LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram to share updates. Her digital campaigns, include webinars, series of training modules, product’s features and many others. One of her success products is the BP rewards cards Apps. Overall all her good performance and results, customers are sceptical about some of her online products. Many complain were raised by customers who couldn’t Login their Apps to access their rewards, a lot of BP rewards cards were blocked during Covid period and many partners deliberately won’t accept to rewards clients, on Trustpilot many people have called BP rewards a scam or false rewards scheme, because of their inability to payback the customers, the pay is easy but when it’s time to get the rewards the system is broken. All this issue cannot be denied, but BP have so many retailers and partners is very difficult for her to control their work ethics and practices. In summary, BP’s total assets since creation have continued to increase to $282.23 Billion in 2024 through her ability to communicate effectively. BP’s focus on the consumer lifestyle inbound marketing based on a strong social presence and user generated content. Otherwise the company must keep on eye on all her online products to avoid getting a bad reputation, her success can easily make her a target of others organization.
